    Oh I've done my share of helping the YNs. Those contests mentioned in post #14, giving away gold coins, I did 5 of them back when I was trying to help make CT grow. Even gave one to our youngest member, a young lady only 5 yrs old. And I gave away many other coins too in contests for YNs only.

    Nowadays, I do my best to help the YNs by answering their questions, helping them with their collections, and trying to teach every now and then. That's better than any prize, even gold ;)

    Unfair. Peter can always throw me out. :smuggrin: And to address the original question (from 2007 ...), yes, I sometimes participate in contests here. What I would not do is use any "mod knowledge" (that other members are unlikely to have) in order to win a prize. Apart from that, why not?
