I went to my regular bank today and found the same thing...

So I went to the credit union in the same parking lot and bought a box of pennies, and started a new account there while I was at it :)

I just sat there and stared at it for a few minutes. The box was looking slim (I only found 4 wheats in the entire box) but towards the end I found the IHC.

Went to the Bank today and got a box of pennies. I had a little bit of cash left and got some rolls of dimes to for the heck of it. My results for the penny box was about average but found a 1956 dime in the 7 rolls. That really made my day :)

Best box I've had. First Barbers; I almost fell out of my chair when I found the first one. They're not in very good shape, but it's clear what they are.

Okay, little embarrassed to even mention my finds after reading Ron Henry's half dollar report, but here goes...$40 in BWR nickels:

    1939
    1940

Not good, but I'll keep looking as soon as I pickup my next bag ;)

    $30 CWR nickels - 38, 41-D and a 79 & 81 CAD.

Ron Henry - any mintmarks on those Barbers? If the 14 is a Philly that is a super find.

Don't know. I'll check this evening when I get home and report back. Will add pictures if someone can coach me on the best way to add them to the site.

Mr. Flute, the 1910 Barber has no mint mark; the 1914 Barber is an S. Ron

I found most of these in rolls and a few of the nickels in the till at work. I spotted 1942 and 1957-D wheats; a 1989 Canadian penny; 1940x2, 1941, 1947-D, 1953-D, 1954-D, 1959-D, and 1960-D nickels; 1961-D and 1962-D dimes, and a 1981-S $1 coin that I think is a proof. The SBA has led a rough life, evidenced by its dull finish and grungy gummy gunk. I pulled the silver dimes out of BWRs. I also spotted a Series 1977 $20 bill that I didn't buy because it had mildew on it.
