image.jpg Found this 1963 D AU last night while CRH. Noticed that the date looks doubled. Checked copperscoins and it appears to be 1963D-0D0-023.

It's clear as day through my loupe. I'm investing in a better magnification and picture taking apparatus this weekend, lol.

Does it have the other markers associated with that DDO? I can't see anything with the picture provided.

image.jpg Here's a closer pic. I can see what appears to be doubling on the 6 on a little on the 9. The only thing close to this one would be 1963D-1DO-002. It also looks like it may be repunched on the mint mark.

It either is or it isn't 1963D-1DO-002 armando. Can you take a picture of the date straight on vice at an angle?

I'll try, the lighting sucks. I just bought a 20x loupe today. I also ordered the Office Price Guide US Mint Errors. I'll try my best to get it right.

Yeah. I'm not seeing the definition on the 6 or the 9 like 002. Could be that the picture is still blurry.
Again, does your coin have any die markers for that DD?

I just looked at it and I can't seem the see the markers. I don't see any extra bar under the L or anything extra on the T. However, on the reverse, I did notice that the top right point of the Memorial, shoots off, like a horn, and the Y in Liberty looks like it has a tail on the far leg. The I, looks like it has something but I think the loupe edge distorted it's length. image.jpg

There is also supposed to be a pretty big die scratch going from Abe's shoulder and going above "TY" in Liberty.

Also, It's the Lincoln Memorial...not the White House.

My goodness, how did I do that? I'm getting tired. Yes, the Memorial.

That's great!! I thought it was but I've been studying this thing like crazy and I started second guessing myself. You were awesome on helping out and keeping me focused, thank you. Now I see, as a newbie, it takes time to study and know what you're looking at. Again, thank you for helping me with hands on training. Just wondering, did you know almost for sure it was-02? You asked about the markers, so it makes me think that you probably already knew the answer but wanted me to do some homework. That's cool.
