Few free bee Came with my 1875 A 10 Phenning and my 20 c Italian coin. 1955 1 Shilling 1941 Spanish coin from one of there territory I think.
part 2 of my early birthday gift. It's gonna get a acetone bath when I get it. PVC all over it. 1871 German States/ Baden 3 Kreuzer silver coin. paid $23 + $2 shipping. happy. sellers pics: KM#246, 3 Kreuzer, .350 silver
These 2 came in the mail today. Both were $0.99 bids and I happened to win both. I'm happy with that 1902 Venezuela 2 Bolivares 1706-1750 Portugal 80 Reis If anyone knows anything else about the Portuguese coin I'd love to hear from you. It weighs 2.89 grams, is silver(not sure %), and has about the diameter of a nickel. I have had a hard time finding any info online about it.
I did find that through wiki thanks. I found a KM number, KM 177, but I can't find anything besides stores selling the coin that say it is KM 177.
Your coin is listed in Krause as KM#177. Unfortunately it does not give a lot of data. Shows to be silver, but no ASW. ND(1706-50). My 2002 edition give a value of $12 in VG. Unfortunately yours is holed. Your coin matches the illustration in the catalog.
Love this design! I might have to pick up one myself. I just got a roll of silver German 5 Mark delivered from eBay.
those are probably my favorite 5 mark design. i have a few of them even a proof. wow a whole roll awesome.
After a 3.5 year search, I finally purchased a Caballito with a full strike. I'm not sure what NGC thinks holds this coin back to MS62, but I grade it MS64.
I posted by new Britain Trade Dollar in its own thread. Among my other recent buys are this 1915 G German 1 Mark and 1904 Panama 2 1/2 Centesimos coins. The 2 1/2 Centesimo de Balboa (basically 2 1/2 cents) is among the smallest coins ever minted and circulated. It is silver. Shown atop a dime for size comparison. I think the autofocus on my camera was unable to find this tiny coin! Rob
brg5658 => "wow" => that coin absolutely rocks, my friend!! (congrats) .... oh, and awesome photography as well (bravo)
