Thanks jello! Here's another (was at a coin show yesterday), 1885 Newfoundland Fifty Cent; (forgive the white spots - reflections of the LEDs from a new magnifier I'm trying out)
Thanks guys, picked up a couple of small collections & one fairly large, at the end of Aug & end of Sept at local auctions; spent most of Sept & Oct so far going through; mostly raw but all in surprisingly good shape for the price. Nice upgrades for me! but do end up with a lot of duplicates. Think I might surprise a nephew with those....see if I can re-awaken his coin addiction
I think it's gorgeous (cool purplish-toning on my computer) ... I don't see any dings or dents, so I could probably be talked into uncirculated (but if I was buying it for "big cash" I'd ask the seller to give me more and better photos) ... I'm just sayin' Offer the dude $10 (then toss-in a slippery smile)
Here's a few more dimes I picked up.. 1919 Canada Ten Cents 1920 Canada Ten Cents 1921 Canada Ten Cents (shame about the rim ding at 5 o'clock on the Reverse) 1928 Canada Ten Cents 1933 Canada Ten Cents
Nor am I!!! But that what the eBay seller had. I got for my set also need date anyway $1.00 is a lot to pay. I knew if it was bogus claims someone would inform me thanks John!@@@@@
I also got two other non Canadian. 1900 Hong Kong dime last Vicky. 1954 Norway half dollar. $9.45 3 coins dime the best.
Nice Ceylon dime!! That 1954 is Sweden though, its silver & Norway's 50 Ore would be copper-nickel;nice group of coins at a nice price jello
