Roman Empress ?

    Not to take anything away from my esteemed colleague Cucumbor, but the obverse legend clearly reads SEVERIN...;)

    I have a hard time translating these

    Me too TH. I mistook the letter R in Severina for an A. And sometimes the letter E for an L .

    That's perfectly understandable. Roman letters on coins can look very different from modern Roman letters.
