    $60 in nickels (20 CWR, 10 BWR): 1939, 1940, 1941, 1949-S, 1953, 1953-D, 1954, 1954-D, 1955-D, 2009-D.

The '39 had some dings from circulation but still had quite a bit of "shine" and sharp features. Happy with that find.

That is a nice one! I've found a couple cents with some nice grease but that's one of the best nickels I've seen.

Are you sure it's a greaser? What does the reverse look like? It may be a struck through die cap.

furryfrog02, you're correct. The reverse is normal, so it is a capped die strike. Thanks for mentioning this!

$100 worth of CWR nickels from a bank branch at a university:
    2 40s S mints
    14 40s dates
    1 Canada YH
$75 worth of CWR cents from a bank branch at a university:
    5 pre 1941 - 1918, 1925-D, 1936x2, 1937
    20 40s and 50s dated wheats
    5 68-74 S mints
    1 Canada GVI, 1945
    12 Canada YH
    1 UK Penny 2008

So then I went to the credit union this afternoon to cash them out and the teller had these waiting for me: DSCF3568.jpg

A 1922-D Peace dollar - first time I have ever gotten one of these at the bank for face value! It is pretty worn, but no complaints - you don't kick the gift horse.

Actually my tellers get a specialty candy since chocolates are too common.

    WOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

ok, we all hope for one of these. Been doing this a long time... today was my turn!
The long version... Went to my regular pick up bank. I usually get boxes but once every other month I buy the halves off the coin counting machine.
Just because I have not given them a gift in a while I brought them a box of the very best dates I grow. (dates as in palm trees, I grow them) told them to share them in the break room. I did my regular banking then asked for the halves off the machine. The teller showed up with a bag with $118 in it, she added one more that she had in her drawer. so I went home happy to have a few to look through.
Got home, reached in, pulled out the first handfull, and WOW! more than half were silver! ok, cut to the chase!
