Pictures can seriously alter the look of some coins. I'm going to go with yes.

I know pics can be deceiving, but I would say no.

If you are the buyer, and are seeing the coin on the right, and that is the reason you are asking the question, I would say turn it in light to see if you can match the left photo. Coins have flaws that are not always visible at all angles, especially BU coins.

Doesn't look like it to me. The brown spot @ 12 o'clock on the reverse of the coin on the right isn't on the coin on the left. Then again it could just be because of the lighting.

These are the sellers pictures and are as large as they get.

He claims they are the same coin, but I cannot match up any of the bag marks, spots or stains.

Also, the 3 holder prongs don't match up.. but it could be from this being a rattler

    The coins are different.

Does not look the same to me at all. You can't match any bagmarks from coin to coin.

Too hard to tell with those pictures. I have seen morgan dollars look like 61/62's in one set of pictures then as 64/65's in another set. All in the lighting. The glare on the first set I thinks hides the bag marks.

Agree the pictures aren't good, but the "toning" doesn't match up on the coins. I say they are not the same coin.

They appear to be different coins in similar condition.
Why would seller want to make a switch?

look at the spot in the hair on the OBV right pix.

No spot on the left one

    Same with bag marks

You don't need to enlarge the pics to tell that they are two different coins.

So, is this a current listing or an item that you bought?

Never mind, I found the listing.

The seller has simply confused the images as the close ups are not the same coin as what is in the slab.

The seller says he has the Peace with cert# 8157021 (coin on the left) so I will be buying it. If I end up receiving the coin on the right, I will be thoroughly stumped.

Are both sets of pictures in the same auction together?

Agree. That was my first tipoff. The black spot in the hair at the very center of the coin on the right is not on the one on the left.

It's not an auction, but yes, they're all listed for the same product.
