If I have a couple coins to cross, and a couple raw to get graded, do I have to fill out two separate submission forms, and send them separately? or two different forms, but send them in together?
Also is there a list of what coins they automatically attribute? I think I had a bust half graded where they automatically attributed it a Large O. Do type B quarters have to be paid to attribute?
To answer your first question, you have to use 2 separate submission forms but you can send these in together.
They will photograph coins that don't grade, but will not photograph Crossovers. Successful crossovers will have to be sent back for TrueView service.
Are you saying if a coin does crossover, they will not photograph the coin and if you wanted the TrueView, you have to resubmit it? That would explain why they didn't do the TrueView of a Crossover I recently sent in and had to send back. I was told they just missed that the TrueView block was checked. Interesting
That's right. You may get lucky if you call the while the coin is still in the house, but as a rule you usually have to resend.
As previously stated, raw coins and crossover must be on separate submission forms with their respective $5.00 handling fee's and individual return shipping charges. IF your bust half is an 1830 Large O then no attribution fee is required. Simply specify coin number 6157 on your submission form. Type B Washington Quarters "require" the $24 per coin attribution fee.
If I have a Micro S mercury dime in a anacs holder, and I wish to cross to PCGS, do I have to pay for variety fee?
If I have a modern coin, can I submit it as a regular submission, with the rest of my coins, or do I have to fill out a seperate submission?
Don't trust me on this but PCGS has a # listed for the Micro S. If that's on the form, it may come back with the variety showing on the label without paying the fee.
Boy so much FEES for alot of little issues. Why bother unless it is worth the money. Way too cost. Companies are making a killing for Slabing.
