This Barber is new.... didn't think I was going to win it with the low bid I put in... but I did. Paid more for shipping than I did for the coin! What do you think it grades?
I just sent in what I believe to be an SMS Lincoln cent. But on the cent and on this nickel I see sms in different sizes on obv and rev. Of course I could be wrong but I might be right as well. Can I have information on that?
http://www.pcgs.com/News/1964-Special-Mint-Set-Coins This could help.but the 1964 SMS Mint set is one very rare set to find any coin of the five piece set.
I had a much scarcer Valerian II, it wasnt in the best of shape and the portrait's eyes were worn off. I ended up parting with it and scored this for $24. Its much better silver and portrait. Its fairly heavy compared to most too. Valerian II (256 - 258 A.D.) AR Antoninianus O: VALERIANVS CAES, Radiate and draped bust right. R: IOVI CRESCENNI, Infant Jupiter seated facing on goat (Amalthea) standing right, his right hand raised. Colonia Agrippinensis (Cologne) mint 4.6g 23mm RIC 3 RSC 26
