Took the day off work to relax and catch-up on a few things around the house. Looked thru $54 in BWR nickels before starting my chores and found:

    1942D
    1943P (war)
    1952
    1976 (Canadian)

    Not bad.

3 Rolls of quarters yielded about 1/4 Eagle quarters, a dozen ATB quarters (including a few "P" quarters that are finally migrating down my way) and the rest were state quarters. Oh, and one Canadian quarter for a little excitement. :)

I can't tell you how many rolls of nickles I have gone through (it's not a bunch, but more than a few) and I've never found a single thing out of the ordinary.

I generally have the most luck with nickels, actually. I don't think I've ever had 3 boxes in a row that don't have either a silver or a buffalo. I'm about 1/3 of the way through my current box and just scored a 1945 D. I've done probably 10 boxes of quarters and 8 boxes of dimes, and only have 2 silvers of each of them (plus a cud from the quarters, but from what I've found if you like errors pennies are the way to go).

    $25 box of Loomis BWRs
    Netted me:
    505 coppers
23 wheats (highest I've gotten out of a box before)
    5 dimes
    29 Au-MS copper pennies
anddd a counterstamped Iowa state penny.

Just did $100 in BWR nickels. A healthy dosage of pre 1960's, three 2009 (two P, one D), and two war nickels. 1943 P and 1945 D :)

I love war nickels. Nice to find 2 in a box! I'm sure others here have found more but I've never gotten more than 1 in a single box.

jlogan, your half dollar finds have always knocked mine off the charts in the past. Your getting skunked on $625 in BWRs is typical for me! Don't let it slow you down.

Went thru $60 in BWR nickels. Noteworthy finds:

1941s (small or large mint mark...I don't know b/c this is my first!)
    No wars
    1950
    2009P

Not too great...I'll take 'em anyway :D
