1967 Lincoln Cent DS/DD?

    image.jpg image.jpg Here I am again hoping I found something nobody else has during my coin adventures.....I found this nice 1967 Lincoln Cent that seems to be more bold than the other 2 that I have....any thoughts are very much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

    Looks like a nice 1967 lincoln cent to me, no error though. Better pictures would help alot though.

    or SD- Strike Doubling

    I've noticed during the 60s and early 70s that there were a lot of sharply struck LMCs. When you see them in a pile they do stick out, they also seem to retain their copper luster very well.

    To me, it looks like an SMS coin that was spent since it would cost more to sell than it was worth.

    You could be right, I don't know much for SMS coins though.

    It looks fairly well struck and has a minimum of planchet flaws with enough luster left to indicate that it entered circulation a relative short time ago.

    I know that I always spend the leftovers from busted up modern sets.
