Hey All. Thinking this is is MD on the ear (obverse) and on the Eagle (reverse), but I thought I should ask. The ear looks similar to some State Quarters and the reverse looks similar to what Wexlers has listed as DDR-002 on a Utah doubled/just using this as an example for the type-look of the doubled. The area on the reverse is raised and slopes up to the Eagle. Any thoughts and learning info much appreciated Two pics Reverse, two angles and the obverse a group of different angles:
In relation to the Eagle this is what is listed at Wexlers as doubled on the railroad spike: I thought this looked similar:
Not that I know of. Just be calm it takes time for folks to read & post Re: the above post: Very tough to see anything. perhaps the clarity or the contrast.
Personally, I think you need to get rid of whatever it is you are using until you "learn" to tell the difference between die doubling and machine doubling. You'd really save a lot of time with these microscopic doubled dies. Oh Gosh! If Billy Crawford were still around he'd want my head on a platter!
