    What about a reward for folks that don't post in the For Sale section... or not enough to make use of the rewards?

    I know that I already had a post deleted, so, I'll just agree with you, since your post along the same lines, appears to be staying put. I would not call the prize a prize at all. It appears to undermine the seriousness of one of the CT rules.

    Anything, a $2 coin and a stamp go a long way to generate excitement among the humble masses. Not everyone on CT collects only $500+ slabbed and CAC coins. If you look at the photos, there are a lot of folks happy with a nice, raw, circulation piece or commemorative. Trust me, I've put it to the test, by sharing duplicate coins with forum members.

    Your offer is not really inclusive, it's geared to the dealer and seller.

    Then there is this...

    Here you go, my UNC contribution of a prize, I will gladly pay for a stamp and mail to the lower 48 States or Canada (of course)...

    Just let me know who the winner is and an address they feel comfortable providing.

    @torontokuba that's a great idea.

    @Peter T Davis it doesn't have to be much, but the idea of a coin giveaway I think would have a broader appeal than being able to post extra for sale items.

    I do get a lot of requests from members to be given exceptions to the limits on the frequency of posting coins for sale. But, yes it is very generous of our friend in Toronto to offer the 2 Zl commemorative as an additional prize.

    Let the winner pick the prize... a coin, the get out of jail free cards, free praise for uncanny ability to guess the date and time, nothing, etc.

    For example...I wouldn't want that coin (not passing judgment on it but not my cup of tea ;)), nor the get out of jail free cards.

    That's not a problem, if the winner does not care for a commemorative, I can provide an UNC Canadian 50 cent piece from 2012, mintage 250 000.

    For US coins, well, you'd need someone from the US to cough one up.

    Approximately 750 posts in 24 hour period since this thread was started. Hmmm.
