I have had to reduce my collecting largesse this past quarter, so my rebates totaled up to $25.02. I purchased a copper-nickel Bahamian $2 coin and still have $6.46 remaining.
Only had ~$8 this quarter. Spent most of my money at the bigger auction houses. I used that to help with the purchase of a 1943 D MS67 Steelie.
And here I thought I was a semi big spender on eBay with 38$ this quarter. My most ever. I usually average around 20$. I bought one coin with my eBay bucks. It swallowed my 38$ no problem. I hope it meets my expectations when it gets here.
I had $55 and change so I searched around to upgrade one of my graded Morgans. I found a nice slightly toned 1878-S MS65 buy it now, negotiated a little discount and then used my eBay bucks to reduce it further. So after I get back from the summer FUN show and the Disney parks in Florida it will be waiting for me.
I love doing the combo move as posted above. Negotiating the price and then using the EBBs to further reduce money spent out of pocket. Best. Thing. Ever. Probably the best thing about eBay. Lol
I really missed the boat on this...I just now signed up for it and did most of my ebay spending over the past year. I don't buy much on ebay anymore, just sell. I could a really got some good bucks in the past...
I thought the limit was $500 per quarter... how did you get $550? I maxed out at $500, and have already spent mine.
The quarter just ended. How soon do they send you your ebay bucks? Do they send you a coupon code in your messages?
Last time it took a day or 3 to register in my account. When I made a purchase using PayPal, it automatically deducted by eBay bucks from the sellers price.
I think its October 3rd. Usually when you go to pay for item, you just check a box to use ebay bucks.
Only have one seller account. I kept opening buying accounts to get eBay bucks. It took 3 accounts and finally the third account get special offers. I could care less about negative feedback. Its meaningless nobody cares about feedback.
