wow on the drool meter a 10+ lol

 

This one caught my eye for whatever reason. There are sporadic gold tone spots on it. There are also very subtle blues/purples near the rims. I also felt this had an original skin, maybe I'm wrong. I got it in hand Saturday. While now "wowed" by the coin, I do like it.

That's a beauty micbraun. That green sticker, or whatever it is, just gets in the way of enjoying the coin. I'd remove it....lol. (I'm totally kidding).

 

Got this one in hand and I really like it. The purple bleeds from the rims and also has nice cobalt blue at 1 on the obverse and 7 on the reverse.

 

I am not into Lincolns but that one rocks!

I hadn't really noticed until you mentioned it, but the toning is very similar, especially on the obverse.

I photographed this very coin about 7 years ago when PCcoins was the owner. You, WL and I bought the 1959's the last couple of years. Both 1957-D and all the 1959's were from different parts of the country.

 

Beautiful coins, I should have picked up a few of those 59's but I ended up with two, one of which was given to a CT'er so now down to one. We need to get together again and hit up some coin shops or a show again. I have had little luck aquiring coins as of late and have resolved to trying to trade for some on the trade forum lol.

 

My schedule is open Gonzo........anytime.
