The 1964-D Kennedy Half Dollar Re-Punched Mint Marks seem to be getting popular with variety collectors, at least on EBay. There are eleven listed by CONECA, with the last one in 2004. I was lucky enough to find a new one last month and get it listed...64D RPM-012 D/D Rotated CCW. I think there could be more new ones out there waiting to be discovered.

    Nice pic.

I think @Caleb and his dad @Tim C might be involved in researching things like this.

    Nice find and great picture.

If I may ask - did you take it?

Thanks for the compliment but I think Caleb and I know myself would like to know just half of what Larry has forgotten about varieties within the Kennedy series, especially when it comes to markers on the different stages.

Larry was kind enough to send us a spare 1964-D RPM-012 for our collection that was recently listed in the CONECA files. The number of different varieties that Larry has given to us over the years, well our collection would be only a fraction of what it is without his help.

Sounds like I had the relationship backwards...good to know. I tend to think of @Caleb as CoinTalk's resident Kennedy variety expert, now I have you and Larry too!
