I've had this quarter eagle for several months now. I almost sold it 3 times. Each time the customer decided they weren't interested at the last second. I offer it below grey sheet bid last I checked and it is a fine example of an AU quarter Eagle. I'm seriously starting to think this coin has some sort of curse on it. Before you ask no it isn't because I missed an l in uncirculated. my keyboard doesn't register L sometimes.
That's a nice example Josh, you might want to try eBay for it. I've usually found the auction process to be easier than dealing with individual folks that might back-out of a deal.
OK, OK......I didn't really sacrifice a cat and rooster, but I did light some old newspapers on fire. That should do the trick........
I know you wouldn't hurt a live animal , but there's nothing wrong with grilling up some good Chicken . Now the cat I hope was just a picture of a cat .
Nothing "cursed" about it, Josh... welcome to the coin business. As an aside, I am not sure what bid is for a gen $2.50 Indian right now, but your asking price seems high to supposedly be below bid. Regardless... if you're having this much trouble selling this type of material, IF priced competitively, perhaps it's time to consider expanding to other venues.
Yeah that's about what I would take for it Vic. I was asking $275 but that doesn't mean I wouldn't consider offers on it. I hope that @desertgem doesn't take this as self promotion. I'm not trying to promote sales but rather I am asking for help from the community. I need to improve and this thread is helping me do that.
Help get it sold quickly, eh? I can think of a lot of ways to do that, but they all involve losing money
