...CAC does indeed pay full attention to every designation on a holder (PL, DMPL, FS, FH, + & *)...I learned ATS from a former CAC grader that it is harder to get a bean on a + coin than a non-plus coin in the same numerical grade. The thread got poofed quick or else I would link it.

Based on everything I have learned about CAC up to this point...they don't consider the "+" part of the grade.

The thing that must always be remembered is that no 2 coins are equal, even when they are graded exactly the same and by the same company. And because of that there will always be a price range, sometimes a huge price range, as this example shows. But if you actually look at the coins and compare them to each other it often becomes quite apparent why there is such a variance in the realized price.

Then you also have to remember "irrational exuberance" and the impact it can have on the realized price of a given coin. In other words, it's not uncommon for somebody to pay way more for a coin than it is really worth give the right set of circumstances. And those circumstances can be a lack of knowledge on the buyer's part, a bidding war, the registry game, just to name a few.

So when you are looking at realized prices, which is the best thing you can do, in order to ascertain the value of a given coin you have to use some common sense and remember those things. And all of that combined will allow you to come up with an approximate and yet realistic value for a given coin.

CAC does NOT, I repeat, does NOT consider Plus (+) or Star (*) designations, please dont spread falsehoods.

This has been confirmed numerous times, but here is one quote from the CAC site (member-article):

and there are many more, including quotes on the private CAC forum, where employees of CAC post in addition to collector members like me, @Tom B, and other CT members.

I agree with Doug. It is a waste of time and money to take that nice coin and try for a + upgrade. It is already highly graded, and appropriate for the grade. It has a CAC sticker. What else is needed--the approval of Queen Elizabeth, and all of the UK realm? Remember that while it is a beautiful coin, it is also an extremely common date. Just let it ride the way things are--remember, if something is re-graded, it can always go down, as well as up in grade. I think the 66 with CAC is more than appropriate for a '21 Morgan. That coin is not suddenly shooting through the roof in value.

Very nice looking '21 Morgan. I agree with most of the posters. You have the CAC approval and I don't think it will grade higher: Shot on the nose, ticks on the cheek and fields, dip residue at 1:00 and the small cluster of contact marks under the "S" on the reverse @ 1.

You have a nice example of a '21. I'd leave well enough alone.

As I said earlier, I am more than happy to have it at 66 CAC and that is where I am keeping it.

I stand corrected guys…my bad. I just got off the phone with CAC and you are correct. I was misinformed and I apologize for not checking my facts before posting. On a lighter note, the coin in the OP is bad azz!
