    $20 BWR/CWR (9-BWR, 1 CWR) nickels - 45-P, 2x76 (CH UNC) and 2x77 (CH UNC).

The 76s & 77s were from the one CWR. It's always nice to find choice uncirculated 70s.

Thanks. It will pan out for you soon. That's the luckiest thing I've come across in a while. I did come across 8 Barber dimes and a Mercury at the flea market. Surprised the coin dealers didn't snatch those up. They're in rough condition but I bought them for the silver. The dealers were probably wanting condition, so passed on them.

Did my first "box" of dimes (she had $250 in her drawer) in a while! Found 2 silver roosevelts 48S, 64P and 2 foreign coins. I am averaging about 1 silver per $100 these past couple weeks!

Not done with this box of pennies yet, but I'm super excited already. 15 rolls down, 35 to go, and I've already scored my first proof from a roll (1981) and my first WAM (1998). This is at least my 20th box and first one of those EVER. Pictures on my follow up post :)

Did your heart skip a beat when you seen that space and you quickly glanced at the FG for proper spacing? I know mine did, especially on the second 1998 WAM, within a week.

    $10 CWR cents:
    1 1969-S
    4 Canada YH

    $80 CWR Nickels
    6 1940s dates
    2 1945-P Silver
    1 Canada YH

    $150 CWR Dimes
    1 1964 Silver

Then took the load of rejects to the credit union and cashed them out. Asked several tellers if they had any goodies. Nope, but then one teller remembered that the greeter might have some twos - so I went and asked her if she had any - nope. But she had some half dollars, all 1960s dates and quite a few of them!

Had to wait for about 15 minutes while she went into the vault, brought them out sold them to a teller at the desk and asked me up to buy them - $8 worth of 40% halves - 2 1965, 5 1966, 5 1967, 2 1968-D and 2 1969-D.

19 silver coins in a day of searching. Rather pleased.

I don't know how to use FG to confirm...how do you do that?

I like a good nickel box; those have been my best boxes normally. With dimes I average 1 silver every 5 or 6 boxes. Nickels I'll normally get a silver or at least a buffalo every box.

I have more success with CWR dimes in my area than BWR. I did find my first Merc in a BWR a couple of weeks ago though.

Do you specifically ask for CWR or do you just take whatever you get?

I have an order from my CU for 4 boxes of dimes a week but they also know that I like to look through any CWR they get in and they usually hold it for me. This has come from 2+ years of working with them.

With dimes in my area I prefer CWR, I have a bit better success about 1 dime for every $100 searched is the average. With BWR I average about 1 per $250 box.

    1 beat up 1997 S

    $20 dimes:
    2009-P (x2)
    2009-D

People who search large amounts of dimes - do you look at each coin, or just check the edges? Anything I should be looking for in clad dimes other than 09, 82-no P, 1996-W and proofs?

    $10 nickels:
    1940
    1946
    1954-D
    1961 (almost new looking)

    $5 pennies:
This was the dirtiest pile of pennies I've looked at in awhile. Lots of ugly 90s/00s zincs with barely readable dates. Had to wash my hands twice afterward. Less copper than average (116), only 2 wheats (56, 58-D), and 1 S-mint (a beat up 71-S)
