Some of mine came back as 70's..... :) hehehe

You'll notice the market doesn't seem very excited about these latest Kennedy coins, so if they're minted to demand, I think long-term they will do alright.

I haven't planned on it. Last coin I bought from the mint was a hof silver... that only took 5 months to deliver... still made a lot of money on it though.

I'll still wait and see how this one plays out.

Farthest from though, anyone that knows me from years ago Dctjr80, knows I prefer world coins, I'm only interested in this set for the short term profit. Last time I showed any interest in the U.S. Mint was for the ASE set 2011, and I only wish I coulda bought more of them at the time lol, seriously though this looks like a good one to buy...

Speaking of good buys and sure things, does anyone else know of any steals currently going on in the coin or bullion world?

I went on a Caribbean cruise this summer for my wedding/honeymoon, got my hands on some tasty Cubans, favorite was the Montecristo #2's

That must have been one pricey smoke. The cuban embargo is one of several reasons why I don't like JFK but that's a whole nother story one that can't be told as it is to political.

You sure they were authentic? fake cubans make for a good tourist trap. A good nigaracua can pass as a cuban if you don't know your stuff. I only smoked 1 cuban cigar and it was pre embargo cost me $60.

Boy did we get way off topic. from a kennedy coin set to smoking cuban cigars. how about that.

Well mintage is unlimited, the price if fairly low and they plan on having 150,000 sets on hand ready for delivery on the day of issue. If they do ship them very quickly then that should also cut down on flipping opportunities. I expect orders to be heavy and prices to not hold up for long.

They released that they will have 150k on hand?

If that is true than that will probably end up the mintage. They only have two months left this year to sell and they aren't going to mint more in 2015

yes but that doesn't keep the Mint from selling the 2013 dollar coin sets in 2014. just because the date says 2014 on the coin doesn't mean that is when they stop selling them. i'm willing to bet a war nickle that it will be a one month open order window - just like the others.

But what I mean is that if they only have two months to sell the 150k on hand and don't, they aren't going to mint more in 2015 so that will be the mintage 150k. Doesn't matter if they keep selling the rest of the 150k till it runs out, I'd be happy if it stays at that number.

That would be an excellent low mintage number of reverse proof Kennedy's and "special" uncirculated.

What others? You have been able to order the other for longer than a month
