Good luck in finding one. They are extremely rare and virtually impossible to find. LOL! By the way there are so many U.S. coins I would like to own have not owned one yet and there many I will never own by choice not because of affordability.
Me neither. Who cares? The Kennedy gold abomination, maybe sometime in the next two or three years I will pick one of them up for melt.
My list isn't that long if you go by the 7070 but if you get into all the varieties and other coinage the list would be fairly long. I have never owned a 20 cent piece Liberty Seated Dollar any variety Coronet Head half cent capped bust half dime Any early dollar before seated Any gold over $5, I have owned some $1, $2.5 and $5 gold Any half before the bust half Any colonial coinage Any coin made before 1800
There are a few types I have never owned. But the one that bugs me that I don't own one is a decent example of a chain cent.
I just added one I've never owned a 1837 no stars half dime. Never had one been waiting for the right one and just got it is a design I particularly love
So rare that they do not exist. The mint did not exist pre-1792 There were private operations, but no US mint
