I haven't seen the coin in-hand, but it appears to be a void in the planchet.

what is a void? A planchet flaw?

I know nobody likes to use the red book, but just for grins I looked it up: MS-60 is listed as $9,000 and MS-63 is listed at $19,000. Split the difference and you get about $14,000 for the coin. :jawdrop:

Too bad you don't have two. I would only buy them if they came in a set. :p

In '67 you could actually buy something with a cent , if you had $1 you could by a 45 rpm record with change left over .

Wasn't much cheaper in 1959 $140 in Unc. which was the highest grade listed .

That's a smashing coin Matt, one of the nicest reeded edges I've ever seen. Judging by your walkins, there must be a good number of high end collectors in your area.

Every 40 years you should buy a new one.

Do you know that they made something called 'States quarters'?

Amazing things have happened over 40 + years
