There's a bit more to it than that guys. You see, the book, and it is a book not an electronic file, is printed 4 times a year, or every quarter in other words. And they aren't exactly cheap. If memory serves, when you buy them direct from PCGS, new, they cost over $100 each.Even old copies, if you can find one of those, aren't cheap either. The one at Tom's link, if you didn't look, is $60 and it is 5 years old.

So to get enough of them to have anything meaningful can be an expensive proposition. But oh what they can tell you once you do ;) Of course, not everybody will like what they find out.

What reason is it do you think they failed? Overwhelmed by how many there actually were? Or was it by getting obsessed with quantity they stopped paying attention to quality and ended up with a pile of rejects? I can think of 1000 ways why it would fail. I want to see if you have any additional insight.

What may they find out exactly that they do not wish to be true?

I did. I see how things would be different than what they would of thought, but I'm trying to wrap my head around what you meant by "not like what they may see".

Many people refuse to believe that the TPGs have changed their grading standards. Those books prove they have. That's what they won't like.

Ah! Now I see where you are going. It is and isn't at the same time about population.
