I just received this “opportunity” to take a survey to tell the mint what I think of their 2015 product offerings. If you did not receive this “opportunity”, here’s a link to the survey. So, tell them what you think, they may listen. Edit: Link removed, as it turned out the link was specific to me.
I just took the survey. Aside from asking questions about the usual mint products, they asked about potential special commemorative sets for the March of Dimes that could potentially include a proof silver dollar, a silver proof dime, and a reverse proof silver dime.
Don't know if was just me, but the survey was completely screwed up. When I clicked on forward, it asked me questions about responses that I did not give. Only by by hitting back could I then see the appropriate questions. FWIW, I have absolutely no interest in reverse proofs. I would buy any associated coins on the aftermarket rather than purchase coins that make me pay for the RP, even if they cost me more in the long-run
It wouldn't let me take the survey :-( So I hope everyone voted yes on the gold Walker for me! I remember hearing @jaceravone mention something about a gold Walker & Mercury being discussed for 2016 in his Baseball HOF show thread. This shall be fun, I look forward to anything new and exciting the mint has to offer!
Sorry guys, looks like the link was specific to me. Maybe you can find a link somewhere or maybe they are controlling who takes the survey. If you order from the mint, maybe you will receive an email that lets you take the survey.
Ya, when I just took it it looked like it had said yes to a few questions already. Thankfully it let me say yes to the gold walker.
I get those fairly regularly. Each time I suggest that they tone down the "presentation displays". The amount of junk that comes with gold (and most silver) coins is absurd.
I would vote for a 168 coin set on the 51st anniversary of the Kennedy half dollar. The coin is so revered that it hasn't been in circulation for over 25 years! It would include coins from the mints in Philadelphia, Denver, New Orleans, West Point, Manilla, Carson City, Dahlongea, and Charlotte. Each mint would inlcude a business strike, satin finish, mint strike, proof strike, reverse proof strike, and enhanced strike. It would also include coins from each mint and strike in clad, 90% silver, gold, and platinum. It will only be available from HSN at the one time offer of just $99,999. Order now and we'll send you a free mint bag.
Don't be silly, a single gold Kennedy sold for $100k to one wise investor. And it wasn't even covered in hologram stickers! For an offering of that magnitude, I think HSN would accept no less than $1.5m ........BUT at that price point I would also expect a whole roll of "scratch 'n sniff" CAC stickers......
