Bought this today http://www.ebay.com/itm/141353656054?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT After my quadruple ebay bucks, my cost was $142.60 delivered out the door. I like it, and for $14.00 over spot I think its fair. What do you guys and ladies think??
Thanks for the constructive response... To the OP. $14 over for the 1/10 oz seems good. What do you mean by quadruple bucks? It appears you had about $12 in ebay bucks.
I bought one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/111403213828 and got $28 in eBay Bucks, bringing my effective cost down to just $5 over spot for the coin ($20 per ounce). Rob
Typically eBay gives you 2% in eBay buck on most types of transactions. On occasion you get quadruple or 8%. So I got $12.40 in eBay bucks. Now the eBay bucks are only redeemable every quarter. If you milk all the deals when they're available and add up your other purchases at the end of the quarter you can have enough for some free goodies. Or subsidize a nice coin you've wanted.
I got (and others in other forums did) a 4X last week, it it ran from the 21st to 11:59pm PT the 22nd, and also got yesterdays. Twice inside 5 days. I wonder what's in store for the holidays?
I had 2 quadruple bucks deals in the past few weeks too and used them on............drumroll please........... Nothing :-( It's a shame you have to spend $150+ to get the full 4x deal. Sometimes coins that you want at that price point (which are still a good value) don't cross the auction block in a 48 hour period.
But you still get 2x over $50 and 3x over $100 and it is good for everything you buy during the period automatically. Good reason to pull the trigger on something you were eyeing or thinking about anyway, or maybe brings the effective price on something down into the "doable" range. Rob
