Got this in change in Las Vegas this week and it is the fist Star Note I have received since I started checking my notes about 2 months ago. In is a Series 2006 in very heavily circulated condition. Due to the condition, it was a "catch and release" situation, so only this quick snapshot to document the catch. Rob
Why not keep it, it was your first and you would only be out a dollar. I would keep mine if I found one,
i hold on to my worn-out stars and stash them around the house as emergency money. i have about $40 FV, mostly $1s and $2s
I found these notes out of circulation during about a month period. 2009 $10 star notes seem to be more common than others. I had put these on eBay for $80 bucks but no takers yet. http://www.ebay.com/itm/361026416585?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
Why not keep it? i have saved 100s of dollars in stars, who knows mabye someday they will be worth more of a premium!
Keep them what does it hurt premiums aren't to much at the moments but the right ones do bring a lot and it is always fun to hunt for stars !!
