To the OP---sentimental value in that grade. Some high grade Ikes and spectacularly colorful ones demand great premiums. Those are worth only what they mean to you.

I really think not since the coins in the set look at least MS65. Possibly some pluses and maybe even an MS66.

That was a nice gift back 43 years ago. A wedding album is a very precious family heirloom.

If so, then there may you may well be right--some of those high grade Ikes go way up there, as they are low population in high grades.

Can you see the other side of the coins?

Yep. . . You can see the other side of the coins. Because I plan to send some of them for grading, I popped them out of the original card holder.

There you go! Rip that wedding album and get those coins! Haha

Ok seriously though, before sending them off for grading and spending money, maybe compare them to some that are already graded (hand to hand) to get an idea and see if it's worth the money. Your best bet might be a local coin shop. If not purchase an MS65 or MS66 online and see if they are better, worse or same condition as the graded one.

Not that it matters, but this wasn't a wedding album. It was a 25th anniversary card. And not that this matters either, but I don't plan on selling these coins. . . They are keepers no matter the grade.

As for having someone look at them, 19Lyds already helped me with that by hooking me up with an Ike guy who screened them for me.

So then they were all from philly?

Yea I don't know where I got wedding album from, lol. It is a cool 25th Anniversary gift. The idea of 25 silver dollars signifying 25th silver year where the year on the coins is also the anniversary year is a really nice concept.

Would be funny if they were from Denver.

I received the grades earlier today from PCGS. . .

Of 18 coins submitted, 14 of them graded MS65. Although I was hoping to pull a 66 or two, I'm happy with this result.:)

Certainly better than a buck or two each.

    Cool.

Those are really good grades for this date.

I'd be inclined to hold onto a few of the finest for the long term.
