As far as I know, NGC will not attribute the clash. However, ANACS will.

I'm also of the opinion that paying for an attribution would be a waste of your time and your money since to the enthusiastic IKE Collector, the coin speaks for itself.

Are you sure this is from a clash...I can’t visualize were it came from on the reverse, especially being so recessed in the die. Maybe they are die gouges?

It's the same shape as the Talon Heads I've seen before - just more of them and more spread out.

STL, nothing listed in the new book. You may want to contact Tom Kalantzis or John Wexler about this coin.. Pretty interesting looking from the pictures. I dont think your looking at a ton of $$ but it will carry a premium I bet. I did check the CONECA listings and see nothing listed there either.

If it is one of a kind it hundreds of dollars minimum.

I'm just trying to get a ballpark...lol...notice how the Ike collectors (who I'm guessing would like to own it) are...ahem...refraining from throwing out any monetary values... (said in jest, no sarcasm font, making that clear...)

I have a hunch that to bring the highest selling price, it's going to have to be attributed on the label. Maybe I'll send it to Mr. Wexler first, then to ANACS. If it doesn't go high enough to justify the grading fees, I'll join the bidding. :)

I think if 19Lyds says it is, that's a 95% positive in my opinion. Add my 2% and we're up to 97%...

    Ha!

But you do have a point - if you find something that's apparently never been found...what the heck is it?

Ha and I forgot to add another 95% for jaceravone...so we're up over 100% now.

Don't waste your time sending to Wexler. Send to Vaile with the Ike group or Kalantzis.

    Ha ha ha...finally, a number!

Its worth more than $100. I wonder what grade it is?

Its only worth what someone would pay for it. I would be willing to pay $50 for it but someone else may be willing to pay more....and once its graded who knows what it will fetch, but $100 is a good number especially since he probably only has $1.50 into it or something crazy small like that.

I wonder what that other triple clashed TH cost? Of course, that one is an MS64...this one (I'm guessing) is an AU.

And I believe it cost $1.10.
