I got this today, and I have very few of this type, where do I find which mint mark? There are two listed, I'm assuming they are Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
As far as I know (not 100% sure), they were minted in Leningrad and London. Check the edge inscription out; there should be some mintmaster sign. "TP" indicates London (1924 only) while "ПЛ" would be Leningrad. Christian
Great coins not rare, but hard to come by, I've 2 and I still don't know, but Krause shows no price change between the two.
I like them, I'minterested in a 1924 ruble now too . I didn't know the mints mark was on the edge until Christian told me. The mintage from the two mints are almost the same.
This "coin" and a few others - it's a set or series - was made by the New Zealand Mint (private mint which does not produce NZ coinage) for one of the islands in that area: http://www.nzmint.com/coins/shop-online/disney Christian
