awesome Newf, JJ ... => I also happen to have a sweet ol' super-toned 1894 Newf!! (but mine is a "20" cent piece) Cheers brother!!
Went to a local coin show & picked up many new additions. Here are a few I managed to take quick pics of, upgrades for my Canada Ten Cent set 1913 (Small Leaves) 1916 1917 1919
Curious? ... ummm, what year are those 25 cent pieces? (are they brand new, 2014?) *stevex6 edit* ... apparently they are 2013 (thanks)
@stevex6 Here the best photo I can take with my phone of the 1960 1 penny. Still Red I would say but a Tpg may not?
1922 Canada Nickel, holder's scratched like crazy, but the coin's a beauty & believe it's the far rim variety
Sorry, SF = Shoulder Fold, NSF = No Shoulder Fold are varieties of the Obverse for cents in 1953, 1954 & 1955 - on the SF the shoulder fold or dress strap goes from the front of the shoulder to the back of the shoulder and the I in DEI is centred on a denticle - on the NSF the shoulder fold or dress strap starts from the front of the shoulder and stops at the top of the shoulder & the I in DEI is centred between two denticles. I thought yours was a SF variety from the photo but wasn't positive.
here is a sweet example of a "No Shoulder Fold" ... I love them because it looks like the queen wasn't wearing a shirt (but they were considered a bit too racy for the Royal Family, so they changed the design and made Liz put-on a shirt) http://www.moorecoins.com/1953-No-Shoulder-Fold-PCGS-graded-SPECIMEN-67-Red-90-red-luster-Heavy-Cameo-Tied-for-the_i10222754 ... the "link" (above) allows you to zoom-in a bit and get a better idea of what I'm saying
