Who is still waiting on HOF Coins?

I had a similar problem with my uncirculated dollar. Mine had a ding in the lower field. First time i've gotten something from the mint wit ha visual flaw. I considered sending it back but since it's sold out I think I wouldn't get a replacement. I'd rather have this one then none at all. I look at it now and it doesn't bother me as much. Just not a perfect coin. Complete judgement call for you.

I didn't mean this literally, it was a bit of sarcasm since the Mint was cancelling a lot of orders.

 

Update: credit card finally got charged for the HOF silver dollar, just yesterday (I ordered it in April).

 

A less than perfect coin is still more valuable than no coin at all! I say keep it.

 

Be crazy to send it back just put it on eBay and make a few bucks. I wish I had bought a lot more then the 20 or so I bought.

I'm still waiting on mines I ordered a couple days after they went on sale. The backorder date kept getting pushed back and is now 8/15. I'm hoping that it won't get pushed back again!!

 

Got the last of my Silver proofs today. Only my gold Unc remains... currently with a date of 8/31...

 

I just received 5 Silver Proof HOF Silver dollars a few minutes ago.
I would give each one of them a 70 on grading if I was a grader.
I am still waiting for 15 unc proof s. d. and 10 proof s .d .which now say 8/21 or 8/31 ship dates.

My Gold Kennedys were shipped today

 

Was checking on another order yesterday and noticed that for my HOF coins the status changed from back ordered to line cancelled I called today and was told that apparently I was on the waiting list. Since no coins were available my order was cancelled. I guess I'll have to find a dealer that's not selling them for too much

 

Finally! I order two sets of the four non-gold on the first day available for sale. The free bags and coins all arrived in a separate box each. Bags first, two different boxes a day or two apart. Then last month the clads started arriving each in a separate box and a day apart. Last two weeks the silvers starting arriving. The last proof arrived on Aug 5 when I was in Chicago so I couldn't sign for it. Thank God UPS re-delivered on Monday when I was home.
What a terrible wait, but at least I got them!

 

This is as of today. I guess my after thought stocking stuffers for the grand kids might become the silver set Kennedys instead if they do not have a limit .

My gold UNC still listed for 8/31. Just got the grade online for the Gold Proof I submitted - PF70! Woot!

 

Received the unc silver dollar today and the proof about 2 weeks ago. I was worried about receiving someone's returns but both coins looked great.
