    Hello all,

I picked these up from the local coin store for $0.50 a piece today. I don't know much about the series besides that I really love the reverse design. Just thought I'd share and see if I did alright. Thanks for looking! :)

you most certainly did alright---Victoria bun head pennies reverse Britannia--1865 book value £16---the 1874 looks like a small H under the date this shows that it was minted at the heaton mint-book value £22-----well done

Great pick up! Are they still going for that value ~ $37? (Can't check the auction sites right now.)

    Thanks guys :) I picked up a total of 40 different dates including a few with mintmarks, the 1874H, a 1912H, and a 1919H. I figured that you couldn't beat 50 cents.
Like Jwt708 said, are tthey actually selling for that price? The only online price guide i could find was ngc and I wasn't sure how accurate that was.

If I could, I would check completed listings on eBay to get an idea.

I've looked and the few that have sold on ebay have been anywhere between $2-$20. More-so in the 5-7 range. NGC lists them both at $37 for VF20. I'm not sure I would grade mine that high.

Does anyone know any good online resources for Great Britain coins?
