Someone said we were kicking a dead horse a couple days ago. Later, the OP went back to his ebay account to see if he could leave another negative feedback on the seller. This horse is alive and kicking. It's on a full out rampage.
Oh I see, I did not recognize the chronology of the events. My mistake. He's on a vendetta then I guess. A bit much given the circumstances, yes.
At least, with the guys here, he's getting a candid response to his thread, not backstabbing or gossip behind his back.
Is it possible that the seller now has an arguing point for getting the feedback removed? After all, at least the one should be considering it was for the listing that the OP smuckishly never bothered to pay for, plus says much about his childish vendetta. Regardless, and as for that irony I mentioned earlier..... http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=kaosleeroy108&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller Do note that there are a total of four negs in a total of 27 seller feedback.... and be sure to read them for that little slap of irony.
Even though negs stick around permanently for those willing to look, the hit disappears after one year. Notice that it says the 100% was calculated only over the last 12 months.
Yeah, I don't like the 12 month limitation one bit . . . I've earned 2500+ feedbacks on eBay, and have a 100% rating, like so many others. Why don't I like the limitation? Because in all of my feedback I have only one neutral and zero negatives, yet there are sellers who, after a bad streak will sell under a different account until the bad feedback goes stale outside the 12 month limit, and then return to selling under that account again. That tactic buys them the same credibility as my own record, which seems really unfair. It's too bad eBay won't find a different way of determining the feedback percentage . . . maybe using the last year or 1000 feedbacks received, whichever covers more history?
You gotta be kidding me right, he left a negative feedback for an auction he did not pay for, off all the dbag moves to make thats gotta be a topper, then not satisfied with the first dbag move he doubled down and left a second negative feedback. I am flabbergasted to say the least.
I have to agree...that move was pretty bad. I understand the thought process behind the first negative (I don't agree with it...but I understand the thought process)...the second one is just plain bad.
@kaosleeroy108 let me suggest an action plan: 1) stop hiding 2) tell us that you contacted eBay to make it right 3) happy end
I'd like to think he's sheepishly ignoring us, but is most likely hiding from common decency. After looking at his Tea shop ebay account, it appears the OP likes to buy/sell to himself and had no problem leaving feedback... for him and both positive, of course. While not as bad, it also appears it's okay to leave feedback telling people he "over paid" on, and again with the irony, a returned item. If pointing out the hypocrisy and ridiculousness of this all is unduly harsh, I am sorry, but I feel just terrible for this seller who otherwise seems to run a tight ship. It also looks as if the poor guy has ended all of his listings, and who can really blame him with a rating of now only 94.7% all due to this nonsense. Come on OP... you're surly following this thread, and even if not responding, by now you must know that what you're doing is wrong, and you, as presumably a business owner, should know better than to stoop to such petty vindictiveness. I don't know if SCPCoins sells on ebay as part of his hobby or as a means of feeding his family, but please consider how you would feel if someone unnecessarily went out of their way to do whatever harm possible to your business, especially if they themselves were the heart of the problem. Think about the consequences of your actions, and ask yourself this: if ebay still allowed this seller to rate you, would you have done the same? What if the seller knew the name of your business and repaid the favor by slamming you all over the internet... would that too be fair game? Also, think about what you, because of the decision to air your dirty laundry on a public forum, may have done to your own business. While not in the market for tea, if I were, there is absolutely no way I'd buy from you now even though prior to this debacle, I very well may have, and even if only because you were a member here; surely I am not the only one who feels this way. Think of it this way: is any, even remotely potential damage to your business really worth what you're doing to his? I really hope that not getting a few coins for half the price you were willing to pay, and then punishing the seller for what is your own fault is worth what you're doing to your reputation, even if only to a few people here. It would say much about your character if you would at least respond and acknowledge all that has been said to you, or better yet, contact ebay and at least try to get BOTH feedback removed. With all due respect, sir; are you man or mouse?
I been following this thread for a couple days , and I really can't believe the op would neg a perfectly good seller that was more than nice to him . C'mon man , do the right thing and take the neg off , you'll see how forgiving most will be . Like Books said , do the right thing and remember the Golden rule .
How can he leave two negs for the same coin , especially when he wouldn't or couldn't pay the 1st time . If I ever come across this Tea shop remind me to stay away and tell others I know to stay away. And this guy runs a Childrens charity ?
