Just returned from Orlando, the FUN show and hitting the parks in the lovely heat!!! Got my mail from the PO Box on the way from the airport and low and behold, I had the CAC packet literally stuffed into my box (thanks PO person) with the letter accepting me as an Advanced Collector/Submitter. Way cool!! I have a few coins that I will be sending in to see if they can get the bean on them......when I have some time. Next stop is ANA in Chicago!!
I got this off of their web site, However you can email us and request an application…and be placed on a waiting list
I am still waiting on mine to process, how long did it take from the time you sent your completed application back in? Ive been waiting for about a month now.
I just requested an application via email, filled it out and sent it back by email on 6-9. The acceptance letter was dated 7-8 and I don't know what day it actually got to my PO Box since I was in Florida and got back this afternoon.
Ok, so about a month is a reasonable amount of time. Thats how long I have been waiting. In fact I received my letter around 6/18 or so and it went back the next day, so I am due within a week or two I would imagine. Thanks for the info
Well, decided to send in my first bunch of coins to CAC to see what will happen. 10 Morgans and one Peace dollar. Be interesting to see what comes out of this shipment.
I received my acceptance letter today. WOOT WOOT. So ready to send a few of my coins in and see if CAC agrees on what I have been picking up.
Getting my first shipment ready for when they return from the big show. These are the lucky candidates this go round.
I have no idea what to expect, but I feel confident that I will do better than 50% on Green Beans. Watch me get like 3 now, lol.
I am waiting to hear about mine. The only bummer is you have to pay for it all up front and then you have a credit with them or have to ask for a refund since they only charge for the ones that get beaned. I'd love 50% plus. I kind of cherry picked through my Morgans and the Peace I sent in was a 1921 MS63+ so I am hoping that one gets it.
I'll bet it does. CAC doesn't recognize the "+" designation. If the coin truly is a + graded coin...so they will bean it based on the standard MS63 grading standard.
Heck, that's fine with me. I sent in a gorgeous MS65 1881-CC that I hope gets the bean too. But they go on vacation 8-4 so I hope mine get back before I leave for Chicago Saturday.
Just got a shipping notice in my email that my coins are on the way back. 3 out of 11 got beans, and not the 21 Peace nor the 1881-CC...bummer. Oh, well, back to the drawing board, as they say.
