I don't as they were all way overpriced for common gold I'd like to pick one up in the secondary market for real market valve tho

Personally I wouldn't. Most were just common as you mentioned. I don't feel finding them in a tin can makes them any more special. As always buy the coin not the holder, story, ect.

 

How do you get a cac sticker for a pr 1? I thought Sheldon went 1-70 so

I think it's at the high end for the grade but accurate it's clean and problem free with nice fields and no porosity just worn flat!! A coin I'll upgrade in my type set at some point but will likely be easy to sell to someone doing a lowball set

 

Me I think the provenance makes them more interesting then the average common gold coin but I'd never pay a premium. If I could buy an attractive example for the same money as any other common date double eagle I would tho

 

More coin porn a little higher grade then the last one now this is my lowest and higest grade coin as well as my oldest and newest us mint coins (not counting junk silver)
