    doug444 STAMPS and POSTCARDS too!

In Google Images, there are actually quite a number of these shown, but they are not attributed as to owners or auction records, etc.

hello again all just a quick update for you all...
ive been down to London today, popped into spink they had the coin for around 35 minutes came back to me saying it needs to be certified and graded the only thing he could find wrong with it was that it weighs 0.06 grams lighter than it should.....
anyway been to one of the registered pcgs places they have taken the coin to send to pcgs for grading :)
ive been told it will take around 6 weeks to come back, they have also offered to put it in coinex 2014 in September.
so its just a case of waiting now.. thank you all for the help and advice you have given me,
as promised I will keep you all informed and let you know what grade it comes back as..
    thanks again cheifww

Awesome! I'm not sure but by the sound of it, Coinex is a magazine? That is just an amazing opportunity for you. Good luck, and Congratz!

Wigwam, there's another factor at play here, and that's how much you will be taxed, with an auction in the U.S., versus an auction in the U.K. I have no idea what the difference might be, but it's worth checking out. Plus the fact that you might be able to negotiate a lower commission at some U.S. auction house than in a British one.

It's a pop 5 or 6 with PCGS. Great find. Take your time doing anything with it. Taxes and auction fees could be a killer.
Edit to add. Only 7 better at PCGS.

It is awesome!!!! Well, I don't know if you have children or plan to or if you have financial troubles. Gd starter to help with college or keep it in a safe deposit box for an emergency or a bonus for when you retire. I think there is a private buyer out there somewhere. Idhair is right about auction cost, but when in need you have it. The only coin I have ever sold was when I was in need, one of my platinums. My family and I had a GD vacation, is was worth it :)

Amazing! Congratulations to you! Looks very close to Mint State if not a full Mint State coin.
