Is anyone planning on attending the ANA World's Fair of Money in Rosemont next month? I'll be doing a live webcast from the World Mint Stage on Weds. Aug. 6th from 3-5pm CDT and I'd like to invite anyone who is attending to come down and watch us, or if you're not attending, you can watch live on either worldsfairofmoney.com or money.org as it will be live streamed on both sites. My guests will include: Beth Deisher - former Coin World Editor and author of Cash In Your Coins: Selling The Rare Coins You've Inherited Steve Roach - current Coin World Editor James Sego - noted dealer and Ike Dollar collector. (He found an Ike dollar that sold for over $10,000!) Dennis Tucker - Publisher, Whitman Books and a few other surprises that I can't share yet. Had planned on attending Mike but I sadly find I lack the funds to do so. I thought it all would indeed happen but sadly, it did not. Best to all that are able to attend. Brothers and Sisters.........I'll catch ya on the rebound.
I'll be there at table 911 from the preshow (8/2) which is open to the public, all the way through the regular show. Todd will also be set up at my table doing on-site coin photography. Be sure to stop by, say hi, and if you like, let me take your photo for my show report. Also, this will be the final showing of my Penny Potpourri exhibit in case any one wants to check it out one last time!
For the second straight year, I have a conflict. I'll be in Northwest Ontario fishing for Muskies! I'm bummed I'm going to miss this show again!
Mike, I'm glad to know that the live show is going on even in my absence. It's in good hands. It sounds like you have an awesome lineup ready! My wife and I are welcoming our 3rd son into the world on Monday... so I'm going to be at home with my new boy during the WFOM.
I'll be there and I have a penny I want to show you...probably pretty common what has been done to it....if I remember to bring it..lol. It has a cross stamped,cut out of it
