I was just browsing through the 4 auction catalogues I received from Stack's Bowers for the upcoming ANA Auction. The coins being auctioned by them are some of the finest known. Needless to say, my mouth was open while perusing the catalogues. I think I'm tracking about 200+ coins! None of which I can ever own. 1) the Dr. James A. Ferrendelli collection - Wow! Awesome Early Gold. 2) The Gilded Age Collection of US. $20 Double Eagles - spectacular, hope to win one! 3) Rarities Night - just unbelievable 4) U.S. Coins - lots of great coins and I can actually afford some of these! All 4 catalogues have some great history and background on the coins. I'm looking forward to reading them. Hope you all have some luck if you are bidding on coins from this auction!
