You probably think I shouldn't send this as well' ''' Trial and error is what I'll have to go thru because I'm still going to send them out. The notes have been accumulated and accumulating , just a little hobby, only with LMC.
Just sent this monster into PCGS for an out-of-the-slab TrueView photo. Can't wait to see it. This is about as much color as I've ever seen on a PCGS graded Kennedy Half. The center obverse is a striking teal-blue/green that fades to golden-amber with tinges of maroon-violet. The only part of this coin that shows no color is the upper right quadrant on the reverse. I think this is a solid 66 so I won't try for an upgrade. For SMS coins an upgrade would make little difference in guide price anyway.
Just started Going thru the 00,000's, many to come. Capsulated of course! Just found this. If I can't see costly mint errors, I believe I can see a coin in its prime. In the MS, uh, sixty something range, red. RD
I've read many threads about coin photography. Everytime I think about buying an SLR, photo stand and lights, I think, hmmm, I can just buy another coin and send them to someone for photos....
I get nervous about sending my coins, especially in bulk, all over the place. Try to limit my exposure to losing any through the mail. My problem is that I am just a terrible photographer. I have a decent camera I just haven't found the corrext light placement and white balance and zoom.
I'm plain awful at photography you can give me the best camera in the world and I'll still take rotten pics sometimes I get lucky but not often
Well I just got this in today's mail and it's far more stunning in hand I'm absolutely in love with this coin ha pics didn't do it justice. Just needs a slab upgrade I wouldn't be that surprised if it goes 65 a very solid 64 anyway my pics are terrible was too busy to take one during daylight hours
Good shot of the obverse, but the reverse picture is in a word, lousy. LMAO. Great looking coin. I can see why you're on cloud 9 about it. Great addition Bill.
