    Howdy Y'all,

So I found this Eisenhower dollar in my collection today. Thought I would look at it in my 16x loupe and found this:

That's what it looks like for UNITED STATES and some of OF nothing in AMERICA. (pics are below)
So what is this and please tell me how much this thing is worth.

    Thanks,
    Aidan

It's worth a buck. It has machine/strike doubling, cause by die chatter during striking. Notice that the doubling is flat and shelf like with no splitting of the serifs.

Still a cool find. Its fun to find new things about the coins you already own, since it's totally free!

@Aidan_() , those are some nice detail pics you have there, you could put a lot of the older error-coin hunters to shame. I can think of a few really obnoxious ones right now... I'm not big into the error coins, but whenever I go slumming it in the error forum, I always come away thinking that many of those guys are just like UFO/Bigfoot/Loch Ness searches. The blurrier the photo, the better! Keep up the good work, at least I can actually "see" your machine doubling, even if @rickmp thinks it's worthless. ;)

Can't tell what it's worth unless we at least know what year and mint is it from?
Give us pictures of the whole coin...front and back.

My opinion of value was based on the photos. I saw nothing in the photos provided that would indicate a value of more than $1.

Well, here are some pics of the full coin:

It appears that I take better pictures when I go for small details of the coins.

    Thanks Aidian_().
Nice pictures. Ike's are hard to shoot.
It looks like an average circulated 72D Ike.
    It's value is $1.
Keep collecting Ike's, they are lots of fun.... at an affordable price.

Thanks CD, this coin will probably go to a YN younger than me that I know.

He's known me all his life, his passion is shiny objects/coins. Though this isn't proof it's still cool for him.
