Looks cool, dont like their forum at all. Gotta load the other sections to see them? Stupid. Badge thing is odd too. Too much like twitter/facebook when viewing profiles. I detest twitter and dont use facebook often. I'll be sticking to here.
Thanks! I've been looking forward to their new site. I really like Laura Sperber (Legend Numismatics) but she has been very critical of the new site. She basically thinks it will be an utter disaster. But in my opinion, the old site was an utter disaster. I just updated my Avatar, Screen name, and some other info. So far, It works really nicely, looks clean and modern. I hope the new site will be very scucessul, although I doubt people will use their forums much. I really think the key to getting people to use the ANA site is the digitization of all the ANA assets. They are currently working on that. They should add files to their digital library monthly, so there is always new content, instead of doing it all a once in 12 or 18 months from now.
Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out the new website. If you have any feedback for us, we'd appreciate it if you'd email us at feedback@money.org. For those of you who are ANA members, we have a really cool feature in the Virtual Exhibits area: The virtual collection. This is where you can check out the ANA's catalog of its numismatic collection. We have more than 200,000 pieces total in the collection, and a few thousand of them are now available for searching on that page. We'll continue adding to the virtual collection over the next several months as well.
I just added two threads to your new ANA website support forum. I hope that's fine too. I found a few usability / functionality issues and maybe some bugs. I can get more into details as I have the time.
