Well they plan on having 37,000 sets of the clad kennedys and 40,000 of the gold ones ready on the opening day for each of them

 

I've heard a few say that 40,000 on the gold is it.

I can't wait to get to the ANA show and mace my way into the line for the gold Kennedys!!! This should be very interesting. Can't you see hundreds of people running from one end of the show to the other when they finally announce where the line will be for the numbers? And what are they gonna do, give out 500 numbers and hope everyone only takes one gold Kennedy? Ain't no way that will happen...I'll take my two. So what happens when they get to 251 and all 500 are gone? I'd be raising hell if I had that number and I could not get my two.

What about line control??? Are they going to have it roped off so you can only stand one deep so you don't get Paid Minion's ten buddies jumping in line with him pissing off everyone behind them? I see only mass pandemonium at the show. They better have a lot of security around that line or there may be some ugly fighting and shoving going on.

The better way to handle it would be a lottery system...everyone who wants them puts their name in the hat. If you name is drawn you can buy two and it goes that way until they are gone. Can only put in your name once.

As I understand it, it's 40,000 gold for the ENTIRE COUNTRY....email orders, on-site over the counter orders. It's 500 per day at the show....a piddling amount when you consider how many the dealers want to suck up.

 

I heard this guy will be in charge of crowd control.

Are you saying ticket holder #250 got a PCGS PR70 but lost their ear?

I honestly wish they would have the line form outside the building, first come first served. I am willing to wait for this coin. Now it is just a gamble at best...

Hmm, I think I will charge my cattle prod and make sure I have it with me so anyone cutting in line can get a real charge out of it.

 

When they announce where to go to get the tickets, just shout "FIRE, FIRE, everyone get out!"
