I was there this morning. True, not too busy but lots of action at the tables. Trey, there was a guy there with a bunch of un pesos in a small binder that were nice, along with some other Mexico coins. I will be back in the morning as I need to take something back for a dealer to look at. What time will you be hitting the show?
I did pick up a roll of 15 1983 Libertads and there was this little gem in the roll which I am seriously thinking about having graded just cause I love the coloring. Not sure the pics get it the best. I tried two different backgrounds.
He was there from 1:30 - 4:30, wearing his khaki-colored Nike cap. He may also be there tomorrow, but possibly sans cap.
I scanned around for the cap but it didn't jump out at me. I was the guy there with the young redhead kid and wasn't buying anything.
Im gonna be there shortly after doors open tomorrow. I will be a big fella, mid twenties, athletic and very handsome looking Not sure what i will be wearing, probably extremely casual though, khaki shorts and flip flops most likely and I will have a laptop bag strapped across my shoulder. Oh, and I always wear a khaki visor that says "Garland Fulcher Seafood", you wont miss me once you see me.
I will be there shortly after opening also. Probably shorts, t-shirt not tucked in, short white hair, black rubber sandals from Thailand. I will have a canvas bag with me this time that says MARSH Affinity Group Services on one side.
What's your first name so I don't feel like an idiot? I'll be running around going 'excuse me, are you Key Meow?'
This is where some form of coinTalk membership identification would be useful. As for me I go to the burlington show sometimes. I'm going to start going to the larger shows next year hopefully.
Had a great day at the show. Found a nice civil war era seated quarter and $10 note that I am very pleased with. Also upgraded a few nickels in the Dansco.
Here is what I scooped up today. Fairly pleased with this haul. Picked up a handful of nickel upgrades. Most notable of the group was the 38-D
Here's some currency to go along with it. NC 50 Cents NC 75 Cents (didn't know this existed until the show) And this beautiful $10 note from a scarce issue of the Merchants Bank from my hometown
