I purchased a 1796 $10 gold in PCGS MS62 that a customer of mine was looking for and the next day he bought it.

Probably my highest was around $2500. But it was a part of a purchase that was into the five figure area, which I'm not at liberty to divulge, and was the most I have ever paid for coins in a single transaction. Now, if any of you feel like blackmailing me, or simply setting me up to be brutally murdered, now is your chance to notify my wife of this post.

$2650, spent last week, is more than double any other single coin I have purchased, and likely to remain that way for several more years to come.

There have been some purchases that the Mrs. found out about because of her opening my bank statements while I was overseas. At least I was overseas!

I literally sneak home everyday around mail time in order to intercept packages before my lady gets to them. At least this way I can sort of control how many packages she sees. Its been alot lately and I NEED to slow down a bit......just.....cant......stop..........

Here is the only pic I have of it.

I'm not sure if he still even owns it.

To those of you who spend over $1000 how often do you do so? For me it is usually every month or 2.

I kind of do that, but I don't spend a ton and she really doesn't care. I get I am setting myself up for the day she does or when we have kids and need the money more. She does the same thing though when she has clotes shipped to our house so I guess were even.

When the coin I want is priced as such. But basically about like you. Every month or so
