Nice Bugo! Especially that 52 D...I've gone through about 300 bucks worth and only have one...

Thanks! Are the 1952-Ds uncommon? They weren't when they were new. I've found quite a few of these, as my posts in this thread and my Bugo's Finds Of The Day posts will attest.

I found this 1907 in a roll at work this morning. It's the third Indian head penny that I've found so far at this job.

biggest score to date, while at the bank, my favorite teller opened her cash drawer and got my money, I asked her about the hand rolled penny's in old style rolls, she told me one of her older cust. cashed them in, so I took all 6 rolls, got 2-30's, 11-40's, and 38-50's, now that was good enough, but one was a 1931S in passible VF+!!!!! oh and as I was about to leave she remembered she also was saving for me, 2 red seal $2's. Thurs. are my best day?.. :joyful:

Ugh, I wish I went to your bank...the most frequent word I hear from my tellers is no.

    $100 in nickels; $80 BWR $20 CWR.

    29 pre-1960 including a very nice 58 and 57D

1 silver (1943 P) - not great condition but good enough to replace the other one in my circulates nickel book.

And 1 buffalo, no date though. Still better than nothing!

Also did $500 in quarters. 13 bicentennials, a couple hole fillers in my National Park book, and my first ever silver quarter!! If it wasn't for that nick on the side I'd actually consider it to be in pretty decent condition.

I wonder why the majority of silver dimes and quarters in circulation are 1964s? Do some non-collectors think that 1963 was the last year of the silver quarter?

I only wish this could happen every month, 5 years of roll shuffle this is the BEST.

Unless you want to go back to the 60's when we would get say 5.00 in dimes, get what we wanted, with spares, take 'um back in, drove the tellers nuts.

Quite a find. In the last month I've found both a 1907 IHC and a 1909 VDB in rolls along with many wheats, but your finds eclipse mine by a lot.
