Wonderful presenation Charmy. I liked that pool table photo of all those YN's. Coin collecting is not dying at all-quite the opposite. I'll guess the wine you saved was the Artemis

It is a great read but I don't think these posts should be featured. is it really cool to read about a coin show from a dealers perspective? yes, it is an I enjoy reading all of them. But is it a guide that provides a lot of details about coins? no, not really.

 

Umm...the Summer Seminar is not a coin show.

 

I like Charmy's and Amanda's photos and stories. If I want details about a coin, I'll look it up in a book.

 

Whether our threads are featured or not is not my call, but this "show report" was about a coin-related educational experience at the ANA Summer Seminar, and had nothing to do with me being a dealer. I was merely a student sharing my adventures at the best place there is to learn about coins. (I also happened to give a presentation on my penny exonumia collection, which I only collect and do not sell). In any event, I see no problem with threads like mine or anyone else's being "featured" if it helps to spread information on what it's like to attend the ANA Summer Seminar.
