Well, I was going to say something when I saw Doug, (GDJMSP), had exactly 39,000 posts here. I missed it, he has snuck up to 39,004 posts as of right now. Anyway, I simply wanted to congratulate Doug on this accomplishment, and publicly thank him for being, along with Peter, so instrumental in making CoinTalk what it is. All of his long hours usually go unrewarded, and collectively we should all remember the hard work he, Peter, and the mods all put in here to make our little coin collecting site what it is. So, here is to 39,000 Doug, may you have 39,000 more! I promise to hold my disagreements with you down to a minimum, (though I still do not believe gold tones).

Doug's "anniversaries" of 1,000 posts come pretty often, so you'll get a chance to catch the next one. At his current average rate of 9.16 posts per day, he'll be to 40,000 by October 18, 2014. My guess is probably earlier than that...
