Hey Steve, I just found a friend for my nickel dollar error struck on a 50-cent planchet. I just picked up a 1980 nickel dollar struck on a 25-cent planchet, from the Moore Legacy auction. Scroll down to the bottom of the thread in the error section: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/rare-canadian-error-type.247883/#post-1936747
Here all the die variety of 1965 Canadians half dollar . 300.00 on ebay. Bit high but he the link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/141294662622?nav=SEARCH
I believe the obverse die varities are on the '65 Dollar not on the Fifty cent; at least not that I'm aware of.
Was just flipping through a variety book, looks like the 1965 cent (sm/lg beads, ptd/blunt 5), Nickel (sm/lg beads), Dime (ptd/round 5) & Dollar (as above per jello's post) all have identified varieties.....maybe the 50 & 25 cent are still to be discovered.....
Gemmy 1919 JJ Ya that 1965 error set I am glad JJ could clear things up. 1965 was a error filled year coin wise.
