Well, actually, I didn't miss it. I thought it was from circulation and should hold it under MS. I just didn't see it as going "details" so wasn't sure if that one was the one that got it.
I saw it too...it just doesn't look too bad in the photos. I'd be curious to see how much it stands out in hand.
As we are going by the coin picture, the scratch in question looks different, to me, when enlarged and not enlarged. That confused me a bit. There are also other marks, such as the one in the field in front of the forehead and the horizontal one on the reverse, below IGWT, above the branch. The scratch in question greets you due to its position but is it worse than the others? Was it called "details" because it affects eye appeal to this grader? It clearly doesn't bother many here in this discussion, so is it accurately graded?
With a scratch that big and deep the coin is definitely a problem coin. And yes, I would say it has AU details. As it for not bothering others, I wonder how many even saw it.
